Our multimillion-dollar renovation of The Jerrabomberra is taking shape, with the transformation of the pub now on the home stretch.
Harvest Co-founder and Chief Development Officer Fraser Haughton takes us behind the scenes for a look at the work underway across the pub, from the expanded bistro and new kitchen to the kids’ play area, sports bar, beer garden and bottle shop.
At the heart of the renovation is a simple goal: to make more of Jerrabomberra’s only pub for the local community.
The bistro has been reconfigured to add around 50 additional seats, with direct access to the new kids’ play area so parents can keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a meal. A significantly larger kitchen gives the team greater capacity to cater for the expanded bistro, beer garden and community events.
Elsewhere, the sports bar has received a major refresh, including an upgraded video wall and new furniture, while the drive-through bottle shop has been redesigned to improve service and convenience.
Outside, work is progressing on the beer garden, with new paving and drainage, additional access points, a fire pit and new built-in elements designed to make the space more comfortable year-round.
Take a look behind the scenes with Fraser and the team as the new-look Jerra comes together.
