World Cup fever hit Brady’s Railway Hotel, with the Albury pub opening its doors early to give local football fans a place to watch the Socceroos on the big screen.
With Australia’s matches kicking off outside usual trading hours, the Brady’s team adjusted its opening times so fans could come together and experience the action live.
The early starts drew plenty of green and gold through the doors, bringing the atmosphere of the World Cup to Albury and showing the role local pubs can play in bringing communities together around major sporting moments.
Channel 7 News visited Brady’s to capture the excitement as fans geared up to support the Socceroos.
